Eric Holmes was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. He began studying photography in high school and continued his education at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

Holmes recently began photographing sites and images in and around the city. Part artist, part documentarian, he wanders the streets and records great beauty, hidden in plain sight.
